Booking Privacy Notice

In plain words: you booked with a salon that uses AU2MATES for its online booking. The salon uses your details to look after your appointment, and we keep them safe for the salon. We never sell them or use them for ads.

1. Who is responsible

The salon you booked with is responsible for your information and decides how it's used. AU2MATES LLC runs the booking system and sends emails on the salon's behalf. If the salon has its own privacy policy, it applies alongside this notice.

2. What is collected

  • Your name and email, and your phone number if you give it.
  • The service, team member, date and time you booked, and any note you add.
  • Your visit history, notes the salon adds to help with your next visit, and payments the salon records.
  • If you pay a deposit or pay online, payment is processed by Stripe. The salon and AU2MATES never see your full card number.

3. Emails you'll receive

  • A confirmation when you book, and a reminder the day before your appointment.
  • Messages if your appointment is changed or cancelled.
  • One request for a Google review after a paid visit. You're asked once, whatever your experience was.
  • Rebooking reminders only if you ticked the box to receive them. You can unsubscribe from these anytime with the link in the email.

4. Who can see it

The salon's team, based on their role (for example, staff see the clients booked with them). AU2MATES and the providers that run the service for us (hosting, database, email delivery and payments) handle it only to provide the service. Your information is never sold or shared with other salons.

5. How long it's kept

For as long as the salon uses AU2MATES, so your history is there for your next visit. When a salon stops using AU2MATES, its data is deleted within 90 days.

6. Your choices

To see, correct or delete your information, contact the salon you booked with. You can also write to us at partnerships@au2mates.com and we'll pass your request to the salon and help them handle it. Our full Privacy Policy has more detail, including rights under California, EU and UK law.
