Terms of Service

Last updated: October 26, 2026

In plain words: we build your salon a website and give you the AU2MATES system to run it. You pay a setup fee and a monthly fee, you can leave with 30 days' notice, and your clients' data always belongs to you. The full terms are below.

1. This agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between AU2MATES LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("AU2MATES", "we", "us"), and the salon, studio or business that signs up for our services ("you"). They apply to our website at au2mates.com, the AU2MATES platform at app.au2mates.com, the booking pages and websites we run for you, and any related setup and support (together, the "Services").

Your proposal, quote or invoice from us (your "Order") lists what you're buying and what it costs. If your Order and these Terms ever disagree, the Order wins for that point. By signing an Order, paying an invoice or using the Services, you accept these Terms. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you can bind that business.

2. What we provide

  • Your website. We design, build and host a website for your salon using your photos, services, prices and team.
  • The AU2MATES platform. Online booking, a schedule for your front desk, views for you and your staff, client records, payment records, reports and summaries.
  • Automatic emails to your clients. Booking confirmations, reminders, review requests after paid visits and, for clients who opt in, rebooking emails.
  • Setup and support. We set up your services, team, hours and client list, and we help you by email when you need us.

We keep improving the Services and may add, change or remove features. If we remove something important you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance.

3. Your accounts and your team

You decide who on your team gets access and with which role (owner, front desk or staff). You're responsible for everything done under your accounts, for keeping sign-in details private, and for removing access when someone leaves. Tell us right away at partnerships@au2mates.com if you think an account has been misused.

4. Fees and billing

  • Setup fee. A one-time fee for building your website and setting up the platform, as listed in your Order.
  • Monthly fee. Billed in advance each month from the date your Services go live, unless your Order says otherwise.
  • Payment. Invoices are due when issued unless your Order gives a different date. If a payment is more than 14 days late, we may pause the Services after letting you know. Your data is kept safe during a pause.
  • Refunds. Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires it or we agree in writing.
  • Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing your monthly fee.
  • Taxes. Fees don't include taxes. You're responsible for any sales, use or similar taxes that apply.

5. Term and cancellation

Unless your Order says otherwise, the Services run month to month. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice to partnerships@au2mates.com. We can end the Services with 30 days' notice, or right away if you seriously breach these Terms or don't pay after a reminder.

When the Services end, we'll give you an export of your client list and appointment history if you ask within 30 days. After that, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Booking pages and the website we host for you stop working when the Services end.

6. Your website and domain

Your domain name should be registered in your name and belongs to you. If we register it for you, we'll transfer it to you on request. The photos, logos, text and other material you give us stay yours, and you let us use them to build, host and improve your website and booking pages.

The design, code and templates we create remain ours, and you may use them on your website for as long as you're a customer. If you leave, we'll give you a copy of your website's text and images on request. You confirm that you have the right to everything you give us, including photos of people.

7. Your data and your clients' data

Your client list, appointments, notes and records ("Client Data") belong to you. We handle Client Data only to provide the Services and to follow your instructions, and we never sell it or use it to advertise to your clients. Our Privacy Policy explains this in detail.

You're responsible for how you use Client Data and for meeting the privacy and marketing laws that apply to your business. That includes having a privacy policy for your clients (or using our Booking Privacy Notice) and only sending promotional messages to clients who agreed to receive them. Our booking pages ask clients for that consent separately, and every rebooking email has an unsubscribe link.

8. Deposits and card payments

If you take deposits or card payments through the platform, they're processed by Stripe through your own Stripe account, and Stripe's terms apply between you and Stripe. Money is paid to your Stripe account, not held by us. We are not a bank or payment processor. You're responsible for your refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your clients.

9. Google reviews

After a paid visit, the platform asks each client once for a Google review. To follow Google's rules, every client is asked the same way: we don't filter out unhappy clients and won't do so on request. We can't guarantee any number of reviews or any rating, and Google decides what appears on your profile.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • send spam, or message people who haven't given you their details or consent;
  • upload anything unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful;
  • try to access other salons' data, get around security, or overload or reverse engineer the platform;
  • resell the Services or give access to anyone outside your business without our written permission.

We may suspend access that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.

11. Availability and support

We work hard to keep the Services running and monitor them around the clock, but we can't promise they will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance happens at quiet hours where possible. Support is by email at partnerships@au2mates.com, and we aim to reply within one business day.

12. Other services we rely on

The Services use trusted providers for hosting, databases, email delivery and payments. We choose them carefully, but we aren't responsible for outages or changes on their side that we can't control. Links to other sites, such as Google, are governed by those sites' own terms.

13. Our property

The AU2MATES platform, brand, software and documentation belong to us and our licensors. These Terms give you the right to use the Services for your business while you're a customer, and nothing more. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

14. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for the Services, except where the law requires disclosure.

15. No guaranteed results

We provide the Services "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no other promises, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose. Results such as bookings, revenue, fewer no-shows or more reviews depend on many things outside our control, so we can't guarantee them.

16. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or any indirect, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the claim. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them.

17. Claims from others

You'll cover us against claims from third parties that come from your content, your services to your clients, the messages you choose to send, or your breach of these Terms.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll email account owners at least 30 days before it applies. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new Terms.

19. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless we both agree otherwise. Before going to court, we'll both try in good faith to solve the problem by talking first.
